This design always makes me chuckle, I never sold it probably 'cos it's a little bit rude! Anyway Happy Christmas to everybody in Blogland hope you all have a brilliant time!x
For fun I painted some little spiders on pebbles to sell at the last Craft Fair I did with the Chorley Contemporary Crafters in October and I sold them all within a couple of hours, so I've painted some more for our next fair on Sunday Dec 4th at The Coach House, Astley Park, Chorley.
I've decided to make my own Handmade Christmas Cards this year. I'll also be selling them at our next Chorley Contemporary Crafters Craft Fair on the 4th December.
I was recently commission to do some humour designs, 10 in all but here are just 4, I really enjoyed doing them in a different style than I usually do.
As the kids are still off school I don't get much proper work done so we've been busy doing crafty stuff. Here are couple of mirrors we made. They will come in handy when I do my next craft stall with Chorley Contemporary Crafters.
I've only been back a few days from my weeks holiday in Ibiza and already I'm designing Christmas Cards, feels really weird when it's sun shining outside.
Here are my entries for the Tigerprint Male Pattern Competition. I'm off on holiday tomorrow to Ibiza with my 2 girls, really looking forward to the break!
It was a rainy weekend, so we went to the local craft shop and decided to have a go a designing some t-shirts and a bit of tye dyeing. These are the ones my daughter designed, she put them on her Facebook page to show her friends and received about 5 orders (little entrepeneur in the making) LOL.
I had a table at my first ever Craft Fair with the Chorley Contemporary Crafters. I took loads of photos but forgot to take one of my own table, here are a few I did take:
but here is one of my funky mirrors I made that I had on my table:
Teenagers!!! I've been through it once. It seems to have started early with my 12 year old, I'll be glad when she's 18 and she's my best friends again!
Here's another print idea. I'm off to Ikea tomorrow 'cos they have some really cool frames and they're not expensive, I'll probably come home with loads off other stuff though!
I'll be doing my very first craft fair on the 6th June with The Chorley Contemporary Crafters, Here are a couple of prints I've just finished, what do you think?
I've been commissioned to design some really rude cards like the one above, all the Captions are male: Dad Son Son-in Law Brother brother-in Law Uncle I've thought of a few ideas but I'm really struggling. Has anybody got any ideas?
With the kids off school this week I don't get much time for work, so I've been sneaking little half hours here and there, just playing around in photoshop and this is what happened.
Went to my first meeting with Chorley Contemporary Crafters on Saturday. I had a lovely day chatting with all the lovely talented girls/ladies and they made me feel really welcome. I've always wanted to get into having a craft stall at an Art Fair but could never really find the time but the kids are getting older now and it's time for some ME time. I better get my arty crafty head on! Check out their blog here.
