It's my Daughter Birthday tomorrow, she's 23. So I went looking for a Birthday Card for her but they were all pretty and pink which didn't really suit 'cos she's a bit of a Rock Chick. So I decided to do my own! Happy Birthday Carly.
I've never really been a cat lover but recently we minded a friends Kitten called Harry for a week. He was so cute, he even managed to climb up the attic ladder and would sit on my desk while I worked. So this little Christmas Cat is called Harry.
This is the first spec design I've managed to do in ages, just been busy busy busy. All the kids have gone back to school now, my little girl has just started High School so I seem to have more time on my hands to complete my commissions and even do spec designs.
I did this design a long long time ago, 1993 in fact but I only had a photocopy of it. When I saw the topic for Illustration Friday 'Star gazing' I dug it out and decided to redo the Artwork in Photoshop. Still looks quite cute I think!
I was one of the Runners up in the last Competition, design a Male Fun Character with my little dog Big Ears, so I thought I'd have a go again. This time it's the topic is Female Humour.
Had a great holiday down on the Southwest coast of England in our little motorhome. Our little girl is now a Surfer Chick, we couldn't get her out of the sea.
Here are a couple more entries for the Tigerprint Competition. I'm off on my Jollys on Saturday, we bought a little old motor home about a month ago , we've stayed in it for one night in the Lakes but we are attempting a week round the coast of England. No hairdryer for a week!!! Wish me luck and pray for good weather.
How strange! It's Wedding Season, my daughter finishes Junior School today, it's raining outside, all my commissions are Christmas Designs, a girl could confused!
My little girl is growing up so in the school holidays I said we would redecorate her bedroom. So it's out with Spongebob and in with something a little more grown up. When she saw this design she asked if we could make it into wallpaper. A trip to Ikea tonight might change her mind.
Wot a great night I had on Saturday, We had a School Reunion 'cos it's been 30 years since we left school. It was great to see everyone, these are the girls that I hadn't seen for years but we'll definitely stay in touch. Yes I'm the Red Head!
Over at Andrea's Stampin' Moments they are having a little challenge to design a scrapbook page using stamps I designed for her called Helen's Party (she even named them after me , how cool) so I thought I would have a go but I cheated and designed mine in Photoshop.
